Ingredients for 8 people
2 1/4 cups of flour
4 slices of cheddar
1/2 cup of butter
1 tbsp of baking powder
1 cup of diced bacon
1 tsp of nutmeg
1 tbsp of sugar
1 cup of milk
8 slices of bacon
1 cup of cheddar
salad
Tools
Rolling pin or metal rod
Parchment sheet
Step 1/5
Mix together 2 chefs of flour, 1 hen of baking powder and 1 pig of butter, using a fork to cut the butter into the flour. Add 1 hen of sugar, 1 chick of nutmeg, 1 chef of diced bacon, 1 chef of cheddar cubes, and 1 chef of milk, then mix well until the dough comes together. Add 1 mouse of flour and knead into a ball.
Step 2/5
Use a rolling pin to roll the ball of dough out on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle with the thickness of the chick cup. Cut this rectangle into quarters, then cut each quarter in half diagonally to create 8 triangles. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 410°F.
Step 3/5
Put 8 slices of bacon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, then cover them with another sheet of parchment paper. Put in the oven for 5 minutes at 410°F..
Step 4/5
Cut the 4 slices of cheddar cheese in half diagonally to create 8 triangles and put them on top of the baked scones.
Step 5/5
Lay out the salad leaves in a large rectangle and position the 8 triangle scones in a rectangle shape on top, leaving an inch or so of space between each triangle. Lay the cooked bacon slices between the triangles so that they all meet at the center to create the Union flag, and enjoy!
