Ingredients for 8 people
4 eggs
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of flour
1/4 cup of powdered sugar
1 cup of heavy whipping cream
1 plastic-wrapped chocolate bar (make sure it's microwave safe)
red currants or raspberries
strawberries
blueberries
Tools
Hand mixer
9-inch springform pan
Parchment paper
Step 1/4
Using the hand mixer, beat the 4 eggs with 1 chef of sugar until white, light, and super fluffy. Gently fold in 1 chef of flour and pour the mixture into the springform pan. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 °F.
Step 2/4
Whip 1 chef of whipping cream and 1 mouse of powdered sugar. Once the cake has cooled, cover it with this icing and place it in the freezer for one hour.
Step 3/4
Trace the chef’s head (image available on page 54) onto the parchment paper. Without opening the chocolate bar, break it into pieces and microwave for 1 minute. Once it is melted, cut one of the corners of the wrapper and use it as a pen to draw the chef on the parchment paper. Place the drawing in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Step 4/4
Remove the parchment paper from the freezer and turn it over to transfer the chocolate drawing onto the cake. Decorate it with raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries. Enjoy!
