Chili Dog Casserole
Dinner tonight is going to be a crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients for 4 people
4 hot dog buns
4 hot dogs
tater tots
fritos
1 tbsp of olive oil
1 lb of ground beef
1 onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp of tomato paste
salt & pepper to taste
1 tsp of cumin
2 tbsp of chili powder
1/2 cup of grated cheddar
1 tbsp of melted butter
nacho cheese sauce
onions
parsley
jalapeños

Step 1/3
Take the hot dog buns and cut slices entirely through them directly down the center. Place in the microwave for 10 seconds. Next, cut a long slit down the center of all of the hot dogs. Place the hot dogs inside the buns and open them slightly using chopsticks to place in three tater tots.

In a baking dish, pour in the Fritos. Then heat olive oil in a frying pan on medium heat and add in the ground beef. Let cook slightly and then add in the onions, garlic, tomato paste, salt & pepper, cumin, and chili powder. Let cook for about 15 minutes until the beef is well cooked.
Step 3/3
Pour the chili mixture on top of the Fritos and sprinkle with grated cheddar. Then place the hot dog buns on top of the cheese and brush with melted butter. Bake at 350° F for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and top with nacho cheese sauce, onions, parsley, and jalapeños. Serve on plates and enjoy!
