Total time: 20 minutes
Ingredients for 6 people
1 pie dough
1 wheel brie cheese
1 1/2 cups of bacon, diced
1 onion, chopped
3 eggs
3 tbsp of sour cream
salt & pepper
parsley
Tools
Pie pan
Step 1/3
Cut the brie into 8 wedges, then cut off the top of each wedge by trimming from the top of one side to 3/4" from the top of the opposite side making a star with the brie.
Step 2/3
Lay the dough in the pie pan and place the brie star in the middle. Arrange the tops against the edge of the dish. Fold the edges of the dough over these pieces, covering them well to form a star shape.
Step 3/3
Fry the bacon with the chopped onion and place it in the tart around the brie star. Mix the eggs and sour cream, add salt and pepper and pour over the bacon. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 °F. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped parsley, slice, and enjoy!
