1 tsp of black pepper
frying oil
1 lb of ground beef

12 slices of gouda
6 lettuce leaves
12 pickle slices
12 tomato slices
ketchup & mustard
Tools
Spatula
Step 1/4
Mix the flour, beer, the beaten egg, garlic powder, and black pepper in a bowl. Set aside.
Step 2/4
Mix the ground beef with salt and ground beef seasoning, then divide the ground beef into 6 meat balls. Dip a spatula in hot frying oil for 10-15 seconds to heat up, then dip in the beer batter and back in the oil to fry. Fry until golden brown, then remove with the help of a clean cloth. Repeat until you have 6 burger pockets.
Step 3/4
Cut the onion into 6 thin slices and cook with olive oil in frying pan. Flip them over, then place the meatballs on top of each one and press down. Sprinkle with coarse salt, flip the burgers over, and add 2 slices of Gouda on top, then cover and let melt.
Step 4/4
Prepare 6 lettuce cups with pickles, tomato slices, ketchup, and mustard, then tuck the burger inside, closing with a second lettuce leaf if necessary. Place the lettuce leaf burgers inside the burger pocket and serve with fries. Enjoy!
