Ingredients for 25 people
3 cups of melted milk chocolate
6 eggs
2/3 cup of melted dark chocolate
melted white chocolate
mixed berries
salt
Tools
Large balloons
Kitchen twine
Electric mixer
Step 1/4
Blow up a large balloon. Wrap kitchen twine around the balloon to create a pumpkin shape. Dip the lower half of the balloon in melted milk chocolate. Repeat with a second balloon. Let set.
Step 2/4
Separate the whites from the yolks of the eggs. Mix the yolks with the melted dark chocolate and 1 cup of melted milk chocolate. Whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt, then fold them into the first mixture. Pierce the chocolate-covered balloons so that only the chocolate bowls remain. Fill one chocolate bowl with the chocolate mousse and let chill.
Step 3/4
On a sheet of parchment paper, draw eyes with the melted white chocolate with a dot of milk chocolate to make the pupil. Let harden. Pour the rest of the melted milk chocolate on a sheet of plastic wrap and roll it into a tube. Fold the top of the tube to create the shape of a pumpkin stem. Chill.
Step 4/4
Place the berries and the chocolate eyes on top of the chocolate mousse. Top with the second chocolate bowl to create a pumpkin. Use melted milk chocolate to attach the stem. Use melted white chocolate to create a jack-o-lantern face.
