Total time: 30 minutes
Ingredients for 4 people
4 bananas
1/4 cup of sugar
1 cup of whipping cream
lime juice
rock salt
marzipan
yellow food coloring
ice cubes
1 cup of milk
powdered sugar
Tools
Popsicle sticks
Large ziplock bags
Small ziplock bag
Tall drinking glasses
Step 1/3
Use your favorite technique to smash the bananas with the heavy whipping cream, then mix it with the sugar, lime juice, and milk. Add the mixture to a Ziplock bag. Place that Ziplock bag into a larger one filled with rock salt and ice. Wait until the banana ice cream begins to firm. When the banana ice cream is solid, pour it into tall drinking glasses. Place a popsicle stick in the center of the glass. Freeze until solid.
Step 2/3
Add food coloring to half the marzipan and knead it until the color is mixed in well. Dust the work surface with powdered sugar. Roll out the yellow marzipan then roll out the plain marzipan. Roll the two together. Cut off the edges to make a perfect rectangle, then cut in half to have two squares.
Step 3/3
When the banana pops are frozen, remove them from the glasses and wrap the marzipan around them, making sure that the yellow side faces out. Cut four lines down the side of the popsicle to make it easier to peel. Enjoy!
