Whole Pear Crisp
With a melty blue cheese center.

Ingredients for 4 people
4 pears
12 3/4 fl oz of white wine
3 1/2 oz of blue cheese
1 1/2 cups of walnuts
1 puff pastry
honey
Step 1/2
Peel the pears and cook them for 3 minutes in the white wine. Remove the cores from the pears without cutting them, making a hollow in the center. Cut the blue cheese into 4 sticks and place them in the hollows of the pears. Pour honey into each pear.
Step 2/2
Crush the nuts and spread them over the puff pastry. Roll the wine bottle over the dough to embed the nuts in the dough. Cut the dough into thin strips and wrap them around the pears. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 °F. Remove from the oven, pour honey over the pears, and enjoy!
