Step 1/3
Arrange bacon slices in a crisscross pattern in individual skillets. Layer the ground beef on top, gently pressing it down in the center to create a shallow well. Fill the well with slices of cheddar cheese and a spoonful of macaroni and cheese. Add another layer of ground beef on top and wrap the bacon slices around the edges to enclose the filling. Season with salt and pepper, then grill until the bacon is crispy and the burger is cooked to your liking.
Step 2/3
While the burger is cooking, caramelize the onions by cooking them slowly with brown sugar and butter. Slice the burger buns in half and dip them in garlic butter. Toast them on the grill until they are golden brown and crispy.
Step 3/3
To assemble the burgers, spread a dollop of burger sauce on the bottom bun. Top with a few slices of pickles, the bacon-wrapped burger patty, and a generous spoonful of caramelized onions. Finish with the top bun, serve and enjoy!
