Total time: 45 minutes
Ingredients for 6 people
1 1/2 lb of ground beef
1 onion
salt & pepper
1 tbsp of garlic powder
1/3 cup of sugar
1 cup of ketchup
1 cup of fried onions
2 cups of monterey jack cheese
biscuit dough
cream cheese
grated cheddar
parsley
Step 1/2
Cook ground beef, onion, salt, pepper, and olive oil until meat is browned. Then add garlic powder, sugar, ketchup, and fried onions. Pour into a 9x13 baking dish and top with Monterey jack cheese.
Step 2/2
Roll out biscuit dough and slice small vertical incisions 1/2-inch apart on the bottom 1/3rd of the dough. On the unsliced part of dough, place cream cheese and sprinkle with grated cheddar. Roll so the incisions are face up. Cut the dough all the way through so the cheese is visible. Repeat 6 times so you have enough biscuit dough to cover the baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 °F or until the biscuit dough is golden brown. Top with parsley and serve.
