Ingredients for 6 people
14 hot dogs
14 slices of bacon
28 slices of sandwich bread
butter, room temp
14 slices of cheddar or american cheese
3 cups of home-style chili
2 cups of grated cheddar
onions, for garnish
cilantro, for garnish

Step 1/3
Wrap hot dogs in bacon and grill until golden brown. Set aside. Make grilled cheese sandwiches: butter the outside of two slices of bread, placing a slice of cheddar between the slices so the butter faces out and cook in a pan until golden brown. Place a hot dog diagonally in the grilled cheeses sandwich and fold around the hot dog.
Step 2/3
Place hot dog-filled sandwiches in a pie plate allowing 1/4 of the sandwich to hang over the edge of the pan leaving a circle in the center. Repeat until the pan is full and the sandwiches are touching. Fill the center with chili and sprinkle grated cheddar cheese around the outer edge of the chili. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 °F.

Garnish with diced onions and cilantro. Enjoy!
